Niamh Crowther – Debut EP
New Artist of the Week “her forthcoming EP further compounds the “one to watch” tag.” – The Irish Times
“The day has become even sunnier thanks to ‘I’ll Be’, the first taster from Niamh Crowther’s eponymous EP” – Hot Press
“Heartwrenching… Beautifully pitched vocals.. tastefully arranged strings” –BBC Radio Ulster
The two tracks “Little by Little” and “I’ll Be” have been generating lots of radio play in Ireland and the UK, including being playlisted on national radio with a TV appearance on RTE 2 ‘Two Tube’.
Niamh came to prominence aged 16, when she beat over 15,000 other young people to claim the prestigious ‘Irish Youth Music Awards’ in 2013. The accompanying rave reviews and talk about town earned her “one to watch” accolades from the media. A succession of well received singles further enhanced her reputation.
On the live front Niamh has won new fans whilst supporting Picture House, Blink, Mundy and appearing at events and festivals like LeCheile, St Patrick’s Festival and “A Night for Pieta House” in the Olympia Theatre. Then there was the time she was invited to sing on stage with Richie Sambora on her 18th birthday!
The new EP was recorded in Westland Studio in Dublin with engineer Colm Finnegan with help from Tim Martin (The Corrs, Mick Flannery) and Dermot Lambert (Blink).
